Our textured pieces are hand-painted with real oil/acrylic, so a little
care keeps them looking their best:
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — avoid rubbing across the raised
brushstrokes.
- Keep it away from high humidity and direct moisture.
- Avoid contact with household chemicals or cleaning sprays.
- If the surface feels fragile or starts flaking, stop handling it and
contact a professional art restorer rather than cleaning it yourself.
With basic care, your piece will stay vibrant for years to come.
Choosing the right artwork for your room involves several key considerations that can significantly enhance your space. Here are some tips to guide you in selecting the perfect piece:
Determine the Location Start by identifying where you want to hang your art. This will help you visualize how the artwork will fit into the overall design of the room. Measure the wall space to find the ideal size for your artwork.
Consider Size and Scale Bigger is Better: For abstract art, larger pieces can create a dramatic impact and serve as a focal point in your space. An oversized artwork can draw attention and become a conversation starter.
Small Spaces: In a small room, a large piece can dominate the visual field, making the space feel more intentional. Conversely, a small piece in a large room may get lost amidst the vastness. In such cases, consider grouping several smaller pieces together to create a cohesive display that fills the area effectively.
Eye Level Placement A good rule of thumb for hanging art is to center it at eye level. This ensures that the artwork is easily viewed and appreciated. Consider whether you will typically be standing or sitting in the space; adjust the height accordingly. For instance, in a living room where people often sit, aim for a lower height compared to a hallway where people are usually standing.
Color and Theme Think about the color palette and theme of your room. Choose artwork that complements or contrasts with your existing decor. For a harmonious look, select pieces that incorporate colors found in your furniture, textiles, or wall paint. Alternatively, use bold, contrasting colors to add vibrancy and energy to the space.
Style and Mood Reflect on the mood you want to create. Different styles of artwork can evoke various feelings. For example, abstract art often brings a sense of modernity and creativity, while landscapes can offer tranquility and a connection to nature. Choose pieces that resonate with the ambiance you wish to cultivate.
Personal Connection
Lastly, select artwork that speaks to you personally. Consider your interests, experiences, and emotions. Art is a reflection of who you are, and choosing pieces that resonate with you will enhance your enjoyment of the space.
By considering these factors, you can effectively select artwork that not only fits your room but also enriches your living environment, making it a more inviting and personal space.
Every order comes with 30-day returns. If you are not happy with the painting you receive, contact us within 30 days of delivery and return it for a full refund or an exchange.
If it arrives damaged or does not match the preview you approved, we cover all shipping costs. For other returns (for example, a change of mind or the wrong size), return shipping is paid by the customer. There is never a restocking fee.
